What are Log Files?

They're not what you think....
They have to do with the amount of traffic to your website.

Why is Log Analysis valuable information for your business?

It's like setting up a toll bridge and having a look at the license plates on every car that crosses the bridge - you can tell where they are coming from and how many of them are visiting your site.

'Internet logs' indicate the site they left before coming to yours. This can tell you more about potential customers and give you basic building blocks for 'affinity marketing strategies'.

So what are logs?

Logs are the data or 'footprints' left by the visitors to your site (hosting server) from other sites (servers).

We can 'look' at the 'license plates' - so to speak - of the visitors and tell you where they came from, what they look at, how long they stay and more.

The log files tell you what people are typing into search engines to find your site - if the words that define your business are not there we can help you with your site content so they will find you!

This allows you to focus marketing efforts on what your online visitors are interested in the most.

So - logs can be more exciting than they sound....
